狸兒～  挖哈哈 我筆癢先寫啦（Nubreed是我的同名專輯吶～）～ sorry...  不過大致是很簡單的心得文啦～ 還是期待你的外電翻譯和介紹～

原本以為Nubreed這個系列已經要放棄了（同樣讓我覺得可惜的是「24：7」系列），想不到經過了漫長的7年等待這個當時立意良好的概念選輯得以重現天日，然而力挽狂瀾的是當前英倫電音圈的人氣才子Jim Rivers。Nubreed系列就如同巨星搖籃般，當年在系列底下出輯的潛力新秀如今已經變成跳舞音樂裡頭呼風喚雨的中生代，Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Lee Burridge, Anthony Pappa and Satoshi Tomiie，各個都是名聲響亮的一方之霸，如今Nubreed系列的重生別具意義，代表著電子音樂DJ們的世代交替。

Andy Horsfield這位GU老闆（?）說他們也是找得很辛苦，才終於決定找來Jim Rivers擔下這個傳奇系列選輯的艱鉅任務。然而我覺得有意思的應該來聽聽Jim Rivers他本人對於能成為Nubreed選輯一員的一些看法：

"As a fan, to hear that nubreed was to return was very exciting, but to be asked to re-launch the series after 7 years, that was something else, something monumental. Ive been working with GU for the last 4 years and knew that they had faith in me, but I never expected to get the call. To get this kind of opportunity - and from such a well-respected label well, it kind of blew me away... The previous releases were of such a high standard that I knew I had to deliver. Jim Rivers表示作為這個系列的粉絲知道Nubreed將重新出發是令人興奮的，但當他被告知將接下這個選輯擔綱的任務其實對他別具意義，畢竟他已經為GU工作了4年，並且彼此間也有了信任，但他卻千千萬萬地沒有「肖想」能接下這個棒子！這對於他來說當然是值得驕傲和鼓舞的！！



說了這麼多來看看GU放置在youtube上面的宣傳短片吧！仔細地聆聽會發現Jim River這張混音專輯有著非常棒的選曲，輕盈舒服的旋律和簡潔有質感的minimal音色正是目前progressive演化的王道！！Jim Rivers的長相有點娃娃臉（其實我真正想說的是一副乖巧的宅宅樣 哈哈哈），雖然看起來稚氣未脫但渾身上下散發出才子氣息，除此之外Nubreed系列的專輯設計也延續著其經典的簡潔特色：以純白背景搭上dj舒服居家的個人寫真照！讓我開始期待這張專輯了～ 這張預計在2009.03.30伴隨著Jim Rivers全球巡迴發行。


順便附上最近GU寄來的關於Darren Emerson "GU 36 : Bogota" 的消息和宣傳短片。特別讓我感到驚奇的是：原來Darren Emerson也用Traktor這套軟體放歌阿～  哈哈哈  看來這套軟體其實也蠻多大喀DJ愛用嘛～  那我也不要妄自菲薄了，好好把它摸熟，哈....
